TUBES & PIPES
TITANIUM CHINA
Titanium Tube & Pipe
Titanium tubes come in various forms, including seamless, welded, and extruded. They are further classified based on their shape, such as round, square, and rectangular, offering versatility for diverse applications.
Seamless Titanium Pipes
Seamless titanium pipes are manufactured without any welding seams, resulting in a uniform structure that enhances strength and corrosion resistance. These pipes are renowned for their high precision, making them ideal for critical applications such as aerospace components, chemical processing, and medical implants.
Welded Titanium Pipes
Welded titanium pipes are fabricated by welding together titanium sheets or strips, offering a cost-effective alternative without compromising quality.
Both seamless and welded titanium pipes adhere to rigorous specifications, including ASTM standards, ensuring consistent quality and performance. With their impressive strength-to-weight ratios, excellent corrosion resistance, and versatility in size and configuration, seamless and welded titanium pipes are indispensable components in numerous industries, driving innovation and progress worldwide.
At Titanium China, we pride ourselves on offering top-quality titanium tubes and pipes, meeting stringent industry standards. With our diverse range of forms and specifications, we provide tailor-made solutions to suit your specific needs, ensuring success in every project.

Production Process of Seamless Tubes
Seamless titanium tubes are manufactured through a process called extrusion or rotary piercing.
- In extrusion, a solid titanium billet is heated to a high temperature and then forced through a die to form a hollow tube. This process ensures a seamless and uniform structure, resulting in tubes with consistent dimensions and properties.
- Alternatively, in rotary piercing, a solid cylindrical billet is rotated and pierced with a mandrel to create a hollow tube. The tube is then further elongated and reduced in diameter through a series of rolling and drawing processes until it reaches the desired dimensions. Throughout the production process, strict quality control measures are implemented to ensure the integrity and quality of the seamless tubes.
Production Process of Welded Tubes
Welded titanium tubes are produced using either the TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding or the laser welding method.
- In TIG welding, two titanium strips or plates are heated and fused together along their edges using a tungsten electrode and an inert gas shield to prevent oxidation. The welded seam is then smoothed and inspected to ensure structural integrity.
- Laser welding, on the other hand, uses a high-energy laser beam to melt and join the edges of titanium strips or plates, forming a seamless weld. After welding, the tube is subjected to heat treatment and further processing to remove any imperfections and ensure uniformity. Welded tubes undergo rigorous quality control checks to meet specified standards and requirements for dimensional accuracy, mechanical properties, and surface finis.
Titanium tubes and pipes are essential components across various industries, prized for their exceptional properties. In aerospace, they serve in aircraft structures and hydraulic systems due to their strength-to-weight ratio. Medical applications benefit from their biocompatibility in surgical implants. In chemical and petrochemical sectors, they withstand corrosive environments in heat exchangers and reactors. Automotive and marine industries rely on them for lightweight, durable exhaust systems and piping. Architectural engineering embraces their corrosion resistance for structural integrity. With their versatility and reliability, titanium tubes and pipes drive innovation across multiple sectors.
